Meditation for Loneliness

zenmister:

Here is a guided meditation you can use to help you feel connected to people. Sit in a comfortable position, with your back straight, breathe in as you read the breathing in lines and breathe out as you read the breathing out lines.

Breathing in, I am aware of my breath going in

Breathing out, I am aware of my breath going out

Breathing in, I am present in my body

Breathing out, I am present in time and space

Breathing in, I am alone

Breathing out, I give my breath to the world

Breathing in, I receive the world’s fresh air

Breathing out, I am connected to the world

Breathing in, I recognize that I suffer from loneliness

Breathing out, I recall the people in my life

Breathing in, I receive love from my family

Breathing out, I offer them my love

Breathing In, I receive love from my friends

Breathing out, I offer them my love

Breathing in, I receive love from all people

Breathing out, I send love to the world.

Breathing in, I am connected to all people

Breathing out, I wish people to be free of suffering

Breathing in, I am connected to myself

Breathing out, I wish to be free of suffering

Breathing in, I invite peace into my life

Breathing out, I share peace with the world

Breathing in, I recall people who love me

Breathing out, I am grateful for that love

Breathing in, I recall the people I love

Breathing out, I am grateful for that love

Breathing in, I am alone

Breathing out, I am connected to everybody

Breathing in, I am loved

Breathing out, I am loving

Breathing in, I open myself to the love in my life

Breathing out, I am connected to all people across time and space.

Breathing in, I am present in my body

Breathing out, I am present in time and space

Breathing in, I am aware of my breath going in

Breathing out, I am aware of my breath going out

You Who Never Arrived… by Rainer Maria Rilke

oliviafortune:

You who never arrived
in my arms, Beloved, who were lost
from the start,
I don’t even know what songs
would please you. I have given up trying
to recognize you in the surging wave of
the next moment. All the immense
images in me – the far-off, deeply-felt
landscape, cities, towers, and bridges, and
unsuspected turns in the path,
and those powerful lands that were once
pulsing with the life of the gods–
all rise within me to mean
you, who forever elude me.

You, Beloved, who are all
the gardens I have ever gazed at,
longing. An open window
in a country house– , and you almost
stepped out, pensive, to meet me.
Streets that I chanced upon,–
you had just walked down them and vanished.
And sometimes, in a shop, the mirrors
were still dizzy with your presence and,
startled, gave back my too-sudden image.
Who knows? Perhaps the same
bird echoed through both of us
yesterday, separate, in the evening…

That being said, for everyone of you whose type they truly found the perfect review for, enjoy:)

A good and a bad thing about a relationship of an ENTP with other types

entpstruggles:

ENTP & ENTJ:

-They could rule the world with ENTP’s vision and ENTJ’s efficiency

-ENTP would do something without ENTJs “permission” and they would have huge arguments

ENTP & ISFJ:

-ISFJ would make ENTP a better person by showing him how to care about others

-ENTP would probably get too bored

ENTP & ENFJ:

-Good conversations and plans together

-ENTP might be too lazy and inconsistent for ENFJ

ENTP & ESTP:

-Endless laughs/similar sense of humor

-ENTP would be frustrated because ESTP doesn’t want to have intellectual debates

ENTP & INTJ:

-Great conversations

-Lack of expression of feelings whatsoever

ENTP & ESFP:

-ESFP’s happiness would be contagious

-Lack of a deeper relationship

ENTP & ENFP:

-They would have so much fun

-Ti-Fi collision

ENTP & ESTJ:

-Good aspect still to discover

-ENTP would get on ESTJ’s nerves for being too disorganized and ESTJ would get on ENTP’s nerves for being too organized

ENTP & INTP:

-Similar nerdy interests

-They would be a disaster together since none of them has any discipline

ENTP & INFP:

-Each of them looks very interesting to the other

-Their way of expression is so different, ENTPs are way more talkative and INFPs are more mysterious

ENTP & ISFP:

-Both are willing to innovate and they wouldn’t feel judged or pressured

-Arguments are not frequent but when they occur are pretty bad

ENTP & ESFJ:

-Cute dates

-ESFJ would be too intrusive for ENTP and ENTP would be too cold

ENTP & ISTJ:

-Good balance between discipline and fun

-They would yell at each other all the time

ENTP & INFJ:

-Both are very unique and could contribute interesting things to the relationship

-INFJs are more risk averse than ENTPs and their life goals could not match

ENTP & ISTP:

-Both have great minds, ISTP would add realism to ENTP’s plans and ENTP would add madness

-ENTPs are too talkative and ISTPs are too introvert

ENTP & ENTP:

-Great connection and attraction

-Arguments are the worst
